About Cosima
Ciao!
I’m Cosima (aka Cosie), a female Miniature Schnauzer with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I was born in Reggello, just outside Florence, on March 18th, 2020, the day after Saint Patrick’s Day.
I joined Isabella during the height of lockdown, when I was just two months old. Even while finishing her bachelor’s degree, she poured her heart into training me. With lots of patience (and maybe a few tears), she taught me everything from basic manners to advanced commands. Together, we also began working on service dog skills, with guidance from a wonderful trainer who specializes in assistance dogs. Thanks to all our hard work, I was officially certified as a fully trained service dog by Dott. Tommaso Lorenzetto through Assistance Dog.
Some of my favorite things? Cuddling on the couch, long scenic walks, and playing with my beloved duck toy. Life is pretty great when you’re this cute and this well-traveled.
I also love having other dogs around. I’m friendly and playful with pups of all sizes, and when I need a little space, I retreat to my favorite high-up dog bed for a little quiet time. I’ve never shown a hint of aggression, just a lot of charm and good manners. I prefer to keep things calm, polite, and fun.
