Our Approach
From Child Caregiver to Pet Caregiver
My background is rooted in care. I’ve worked as a nanny and educator across Florence, England, and even Kenya. No matter the setting, one thing stayed constant: the joy and responsibility of caring for someone else’s loved one.
It became clear to me that what I loved most was building trust, understanding individual needs, and creating safe spaces. When in 2023, I entered the pet-care world professionally, I saw how often services were rushed, impersonal, or simply not right for the animals involved. I wanted to offer something better. So I started building it myself.
Enrichment for the Body and Mind
We believe that a well-rounded dog is a happy dog. That’s why we provide both physical and mental enrichment tailored to each individual pup. Our outings go beyond the typical walk, we take dogs on enrichment walks through green spaces where they can sniff, explore, and engage their natural instincts.
In addition to physical stimulation, we incorporate mental challenges into their daily routine, such as puzzle toys with kibble at mealtimes or treat-based activities throughout the day. This balance helps support their emotional well-being, reduce anxiety, and keep their minds sharp.
A Home-Based, Personalized Approach
We are not a traditional kennel or commercial facility. It is an in-home, low-volume service that provides safety, comfort, and structure in a calm environment. Every dog I care for is welcomed into a real home, with their unique needs prioritized from the start.
Before any booking, I personally meet each dog and their human. I ask a lot of questions and take my time because that information helps me offer care that feels right for each individual dog.
Why I Keep It Small On Purpose
We intentionally stay small and specialized. That’s not a limitation, it’s a choice. A small pack means more personal attention, better safety, and stronger relationships with both dogs and their families.
