Who We Are

Every aspect of Cammino Canino is shaped by a clear and considered approach to care. What began as hands-on, day-to-day experience has developed into a structured, intentional service centered on consistency, attentiveness, and the individual needs of each dog.

Care is kept deliberately small-scale. By limiting the number of dogs at any given time, we’re able to maintain a calm, controlled environment where behavior is closely observed, routines are respected, and each dog receives the level of attention they require.

Our work is grounded in practical experience—managing dogs of different temperaments, ages, and needs—combined with a strong emphasis on safety, communication, and reliability. From daily routines to emergency preparedness, every detail is approached with care and accountability.

We prioritize building long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners, creating a setting where trust, consistency, and genuine understanding can develop over time.

Your dog is welcomed into a structured home setting, where care is intentionally kept small-scale. Each stay is shaped around your dog’s routines, with a focus on movement, rest, and emotional wellbeing.

Individual Care

For the highest level of individual attention, we ensure that care of your dog(s) is provided exclusively to one household at a time.

    • Daily structured walks and outdoor time tailored to your dog

    • Continuous care within a calm, home environment

    • Individualised feeding and routine consistency

    • Carefully managed social interaction (when appropriate)

    • Comfortable indoor rest and balanced daily rhythm

    • Medication administration (if required)

    • Ongoing monitoring and attentive care adjustments

    • Regular updates with photos and videos

  • Base Location: Via delle Cascine 35, Firenze

    To keep things fair and transparent, travel fees are based on the distance from my location. This covers e-bike rental, or public transport costs.

        (Cascine/Novoli, Porta al Prato/Leopoldo, San Jacopino)

    • Zone 2

      • €3–€6 (each way)

      • 2–5 km

        (Centro Storico, Santo Spirito/San Frediano, San Niccolò/Piazzale Michelangelo, Porta Romana)

    • Zone 3

      • €7–€12 (each way)

      • 6–8 km

        (Coverciano, Isolotto, Careggi, Galluzzo)

    • Zone 4

      • Custom quote

      • 8+ km

        (areas outside Florence or requiring multiple transfers)

  • With less than 72 hours notice, any extensions to the original booking will be charged at a x1.5 rate.

    National Holidays: charged at x1.5 rate

  • A non-negotiable deposit of 50% of the quote is required to confirm your booking.

    Clients whose primary residence is outside Italy are required to pay the full service amount in advance in order to confirm their booking.

  • SHORT STAY (up to 4 nights)

    With 48 hours notice: the deposit will be considered a credit that be used within 6 months.

    With less than 48 hours notice: the deposit is forfeited.

    LONG STAY (4+ nights)

    With 72 hours notice: the deposit will be considered a credit that be used within 6 months.

    With less than 72 hours notice: the deposit is forfeited.
